MODULE:

• The display runs on 12V power, but the BMW 3 Series E9x model only provides 5V in the steering wheel.

• Use the included module with a long cable labeled "horn return wire" to get 12V.

• To connect, remove the steering wheel, unscrew the reel/ribbon, and solder the horn cable (second from the left).

• Once soldered, plug the connector into the reel, twist it to the steering column, and reinstall the steering wheel.

• Hide the long cable from the OBD module in the steering column and knee cover for a clean look.
